Technical Tools for Safer Boating
Our featured video for this issue focusses on the new Boating Simulator from CPS-ECP. Want to practice driving at night, docking, maneuvering in a current, in wind, on a slalom course? These are just a few of the really useful scenarios that you will experience with the simulator. Sometimes technology and water don't mix; we prefer to leave it all behind as we head out into the open water. This new tool is an awesome way to use technology to make your time on the water easier, safer and more enjoyable.

The SonShip 72
West Bay's engineers and designers have used the proven 58-foot, hard-chine hull mold, buy widening it by 1.5 feet and lengthening it by 14 feet. The decks, the house and sky lounge were redesigned with a more modern, stylish look, which incorporated gray-tinted frameless windows. The interior design was also customized to the owner's preferences, which allowed for larger living spaces. The systems, equipment and performance exceeded expectations.

Les Voiles de St. Barth: A Spectacle Guaranteed in the Battle of the 30-60 Footers
With the starting gun of the 2015 Les Voiles de St. Barth due to be fired in little less than two months, the list of entries continues to flesh out. Already the presence of some extraordinary craft like Comanche and Rambler 88 have been announced, with the skippers of a wealth of 30 and 60 footers also confirming their participation in the event.
